New free pattern - The Stash Pack Stack and Whack quilt!

It's finished! Our latest free pattern, the Stash Pack Stack and Whack quilt, is now available to download from our free quilt patterns page. This is a single bed quilt, bright and cheerful and perfect for children's rooms, but the technique is so simple it can be easily adapted for different sizes and colour schemes - all you need is a selection of our fabric stash packs! 

It's finished just in time to be shown off on our stand at the British Quilt & Stitch Village show in Uttoxeter next week - if you're able to come please do, it's a great day out and we'd love to meet you!

New Moda Flirt fabric collection now in stock!

It might not be Valentine's day, but it's not too late to show someone you care with Flirt, by Sweetwater for Moda, which celebrates everything 'love'! In a classic colour scheme of red, white and black, this collection is full of simple, sweet heart and script prints that go together to create a charming, whimsical feel.

New website, new blog!

 We have neglected this blog for a while (we're sorry!) but we've decided that with the launch of our new look website we will keep you updated with all our latest news on here again - not everyone has facebook! 

Big news - our new website was launched this week! We've tried to keep it simple and make the fabrics the star of the show, please take a look around: 

Most of the structure of the site is the same as before but we have made one addition - the All Quilting Fabric page. Every fabric we stock is listed in this section, and you can filter them by things like colour, collection, theme or even pattern repeat - if you need something specific (e.g. a novelty print with a pattern repeat less than 6") then this is where you can find it!

Moda Morris Garden William Morris prints now in stock!

Exclusively for Moda from the V&A archives, Morris Garden is the latest fabric collection to feature the designs of William Morris. Known for his many floral designs for wallpapers and textiles, it's thought that William Morris first drew inspiration from the garden at Red House, the home he built for his family early in his career. From Golden Lily to Jasmine, the prints selected for Morris Garden come from a twenty year span of Morris' designs.

We have yardage, coordinated fat quarter packs and stash packs in stock, as well as matching extra wide fabrics so you can complete the look with a beautiful backing for your larger quilts!

Sorry we haven't updated the blog in a while, it's funny how time gets away from you! We have loads of new fabrics in stock since the last post - these are the most recent:

We have a variety of new quilt panels in stock, perfect as wallhangings or as the centrepiece for a larger quilt!

First, we have the popular Dream Big large flower quilt panels - these stunning digitally printed quilt panels from Hoffman Fabrics are like nothing else on the market! Designed by Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero, these large flower design quilt panels are available in a range of colours, and would be perfect to show off your quilting skills, lending themselves beautifully to free motion or doodle quilting.

The other panels now available is the Faith Lord's Prayer quilt panel from Timeless Treasures. Ideal for Christian and religious themed wallhangings and quilts, this quilt panel depicts the Lord's Prayer in cream script on a black background - tasteful and attractive, and we have a matching cream fabric ideal for backing or borders for the panel.
