Dutchess fabrics, new tools & Sewline Glue pens!

We have a fabulous new fabric range in stock this week - Dutchess, by Chong-a Hwang for Timeless Treasures. The Dutchess quilt fabrics are stunning blues, turquoise and whites in classic medallion and floral designs, all set off with a filigree of metallic silver - they will bring a touch of class to any room!

Also newly added today are a selection of new patchwork and quilting tools. The Quick Quarter II is a handy little measuring tool that makes marking and cutting half square and quarter square triangles a breeze, and it fits easily into your sewing kit! 

 

The Thimble Pads by Colonial are a great alternative to standard thimbles (especially if you have long nails!), these reusable self adhesive leather dots stick to your finger and make fine needlework a pleasure.

Lastly, by popular demand (we were asked a lot at the West Country Quilt Show!), we have the Sewline fabric glue pens and refills. These popular glue sticks are perfect to temporarily join fabrics without the need for pins or basting, especially useful for English paper piecing - the glue goes on blue but dries clear, and will not gum up the needle during sewing. Refills are available for when the glue runs out, and are easily installed into the pen.

New Batik Basics and Sewline fabric markers now in stock!

New in this week we have the Sew Simple Batik Basics range of Batik Fabrics - hand dyed in Bali, this beautiful range of Batiks come in a range of bright colours, at a great, purse-friendly price!

We have also added some more fabric markers to our range, with the Sewline Duo fabric marker and eraser pens, and the Sewline Trio Colors mechanical fabric pencil. The Duo pen and eraser creates clean, sharp lines that can be easily removed using the eraser pen, perfect for marking quilting designs. The Trio Colors pencil has 3 different colour leads (black, white and pink), making it the ideal tool for marking dark, light and patterned fabrics - refill packs are available for the high quality ceramic leads used.
