Novelty prints galore, plus two new Moda jelly rolls and layer cakes!

As we have been running low on novelty fabrics, we've just taken delivery of these great fun novelties from Blank Quilting to replenish our stock! Firstly, Bugsters is great for any budding entomologists (or any youngsters who simply love bugs and insects just like mine!), with ladybirds, worms, bees, spiders and more featured on these bright prints.

Secondly we have Animal Farm, with comedy style farm animals such as cows, pigs, sheep and chickens, featured scattered on bright backgrounds and also in a farmyard scene - ideal for youngsters if you're planning any Christmas gifts this year!

Finally, we have also just added two new Moda jelly rolls and layer cakes, from the ranges Lexington and Avant Garden. Lexington, by Minick and Simpson, has stunning indigo blues and shirting fabrics, while Avant Garden by MoMo is a striking contemporary range with bright, modern florals, dots and checks.

Plain fabric strip rolls, charm packs and hexagon packs now available!

After several requests from customers, we are now stocking plain fabric strip rolls, plain fabric charm packs and plain fabric hexagon packs in black, white and cream. Cut from our high quality Makower plain fabrics (the shades black, white and ivory), these packs are ideal to use with our printed packs to create contrast and background areas.

Free quilt patterns available to download!

We have just launched a new selection of free quilt patterns to download from the website, from small projects such as oven gloves and cushion covers, through to full size quilts. Just click on a picture to download full colour instructions completely free!

We will be adding to the free quilt pattern selection as we complete new designs, and quilt kits will also soon be available containing everything you need to make many of the projects in one easy purchase! 

Moda Lulu and Red Rooster Basically Hugs now available, plus new Winterlude Jelly roll!

Just uploaded to the site is the full Lulu patchwork fabric collection by Chez Moi for Moda. Lovely watercolour blooms, lacey blenders and a unique graded stripe make up this range, a pretty, feminine set of prints. In colours including sunshine yellow, palm green, blush pink and mist blue, these prints are delicate yet have a modern feel. We have fat quarter packs and stash packs in the yellow, blue and pink colourways, taking the headache out of matching fabrics!

The other new range now available is the Basically Hugs quilt fabric collection, by Helen Stubbings for Red Rooster. We have six prints from the range, all in shades of blue (surprisingly rare these days!), and they are perfect for blenders, backgrounds and contrast, as well as being very pretty in their own right! A fat quarter pack and stash pack are also on sale so you can get all 6 prints without breaking the bank.

Finally, we have just uploaded our latest Moda jelly roll and layer cake, which this month comes from the Winterlude collection by 3 Sisters. Reminisce with vintage heartfelt holiday greetings and sing along cheerfully with their favorite classic Christmas carols with these fabrics - from decorating to giving, adorn your holiday projects with these beautiful fabrics, prints include cheery poinsettias, scrolling holly berries and delicate snowflakes all in Christmassy reds, greens and creams.

A Beautiful Thing, new in from Riley Blake Designs!

Brand new in from Riley Blake Designs is the pretty A Beautiful Thing patchwork fabric collection, designed by Zoe Pearn - butterflies and florals in the main colours of orange and aqua blue give a modern twist on traditional themes! We also have a fat quarter pack and stash pack of 6 different prints, to take the headache out of matching fabrics!

We have also recently added a new sewing machine bobbin range, so no matter what machine you use, there should be some affordable bobbins here perfect for it!

Kitty Kat and Harvest Breeze, new fabrics from Blank Quilting and Red Rooster now available!

Just uploaded to the website are two new ranges, Kitty Kat and Harvest Breeze. Fun cat related designs with contrasting tonals make up the Kitty Kat range, a Signature Collection from Blank Quilting. We have six prints from the collection, featuring cats, cat faces and pawprints in acid brights on black - all six fabrics are also available in a stash pack or discounted fat quarter pack.

The other new range is the sumptuous Harvest Breeze patchwork fabric collection by Red Rooster - rich, Autumnal colours in a range of leafy designs make these fabrics ideal to warm up any room as the weather turns colder! Again, the 8 fabrics in the range are available as a stash pack or fat quarter pack.

We also have another couple of new products just added to the website - this month's Moda bundles are the 30s Playtime jelly roll and layer cake, and Folklore jelly roll and layer cake, and we have extended our bag handles section with a selection of quality chains and handles from Prym.
